A quick seascape. I approached it with a more impressionistic technique to get a more fun look. I love it when clouds look extgremely pink!

Thanks. I love them as well. I've always found it easier to approach art with a loose, painterly touch. It just comes more naturally. I would love to learn the secrets of hyperrealism. It's completely mystifying to me how paint can make a canvas look like a photograph.

I admire the technical skill in realism but i always think you might aswell take a picture, for me theres no soul in it. I like something with a more personal touch and that looks more painterly. Great work, keep it up :)
